Why I wanted a different radiator cover
I loved how the Scout rode and looked.
Then I’d pull over, look at the front, and see the plastic radiator cover. On a motorcycle I loved this much, it was the detail I kept coming back to. I wanted something that felt as considered as the rest of the bike.
That was enough reason for me to start drawing a replacement.
The chevron design
The slots angle away from a solid center spine, echoing the chevron mounting patterns on the racks.
Other parts I’d like to make
The pulley cover ↗ is the next design in the lineup. My goal is to keep replacing the plastic-finished pieces on this bike with parts I’d rather have on it.
